The Cost Of State Mangement

Public lands generate substantial revenue but are also expensive to properly manage. Fire suppression alone could become a huge expense for the state. Potential costs need careful examination.

Mutiple Use

Recreation and hunting opportunities on public lands are important and must be preserved. Any plan to transfer these lands to the state must include adequate protections and guarantees.

State Or Federal Management

There are many arguments for having Wyoming and not the US government in charge of these lands. Wyoming can certainly manage these lands as well or better than the federal government.
